Three pets were killed after a house in St. Augustine caught fire Monday night, the St. Johns County Fire Rescue Department said. The St. Augustine Little League 13-14 girls softball team lost in the semifinals of the state tournament in DeLand. SALL dropped a heartbreaking 1-0 loss to Naples Sunday in the eighth inning on a suicide squeeze bunt. The team would have advanced to the finals today. Instead, the only two teams to have defeated SALL (West Tampa and Naples) will face off.
